Some might take note I am writing this semi-early....for those of you who know me well this is how i have spent more than half my life. being drug out of bed by my mother and father at 4:45 am to go to swim practice-dangit, if i only could do the same now. chad and i are trying really hard to get out of bed at 5 am every morning. so i need support people! pressure me-make me feel guilt if i don't wake on time or miss blogging for at least 3 days in a row! anyway, the exciting thing about waking up early, besides hearing the extremely desperate owl outside of my window is catching up on the reading i wish i had more time to do! this morning after 2 cups of black coffee and a smoothie, a load of laundry and running the dishwasher, i opened the may 2012 parenting magazine to an article called "What's the Word?" yall have got to look at it ...(parents of course...or newbies like me!) Eric Ruhalter wrote a book call The Kid Dictionary and i have got to check it out! example 1: dintercourse (DINN-tuhr-corse) State of revulsion evoked when two different food items on a plate touch. example 2: toyphoon (toy-FOON) A room that's been decimated by your kid's recreational activity. Many more in his book :) Just thought i would share my laugh of the morning..now only 32 minutes left till my actual day begins! ps i wish the subjects of my blog was maybe alittle more consistent....maybe as i rise "on time" each morning they will start stream-lining. just thinking out loud -but until then they shall be random like me :D

rainy monday

maggie and mom left this morning....chad left for work....and wyatt and i....well, we were left on the couch. i didnt get alot done today...this evening has been way more productive...i couldn't help it! i had to have a play day with wyatt now that he is feeling better! and when daddy got home, they played in an afternoon shower :) Wyatt had a blast! ....more pics to come (this was just a quick iphone shot)

ugh, its been WAY TOO LONG!

It's funny that I choose to write this blog right after I have had a wonderful weekend with my mother and maggie. And the last time I wrote on this blog I was at my mom's house :) like i said- i do feel regenerated and renewed after seeing her. moving on to the weekend-it was great, except for the fact that Wyatt had had a fever all week- friday we took a trip to the doctors to find he had an ear infection....after we got all of his medicine and into bed we had a nice little visit. only to wake up the next morning to find him with a full body rash-poor little thing. off to the doctors again...and now we know, just like daddy hes allergic to penicillin. But of course we all had a great time-managed to make it to The Acworth Art festival...get in a couple of great movies...Lulu brought wyatt some great toys and we checked out Red Top Mountain State park...for future camping :)

Like i told my mom this weekend-its a good thing they came to play with us..because that always gets my booty into gear (aka unloading more boxes from our February move,getting in a few much needed "honey do" projects and well pretty much just making things in our living space look cute! and i'm not gonna lie nothing feels better to me than waking up to a clean, organized house....just don't go in my basement!

Now that Valentine fever is out of the way- we move on (my family) to a little get away to Boone, NC. My little sisters birthday is coming and we always seem to do something fun for her birthday...last year I was pregnant when I met them in Orlando. I was dissapointed I wasnt able to ride any of Disney's rides...or Universal, especially since they were checking out the new Harry Potter ride! So-I went to Chad's aunts until they returned....
This trip to Boone I've taken many times with my mom, dad and brother nick- this year will be a new adventure with mom, step-dad, brother jack, sister maggie, my son wyatt and husband Chad. I will def. be posting pictures and praying for snow (as this may be the first time jack, maggie or wyatt will see snow :)

I feel like i may ramble on my blog more than anything else...

but, isn't it funny being home? it is an odd feeling coming back after so long (for me almost 5 years) and staying for a few days. Alot changes...without you. Alittle sad, but it makes me want to stay intouch better. Now that we have moved to GA I am happier to be closer to my mother- she really is one of my best friends...and a whole lot of fun! more pics to come

i guess im a blogger

I'm not sure why it always works out this way-but I seem to always come up with good ideas and get crazy inspired when I'm around my mother. I chose to drive to Goose Creek this week to be with family while my husband is in Cartersville, GA moving the rest of our things in from our sad and quick part from Ft. Lauderdale. However I thrive on change and am ready to share :)  I could go into a little history about Chad (my husband) and I but I will save that for alittle later...oddly, I chose to make this blog on a "sick" day. Wyatt (our little 8 monthold monster) went to bed with a fever last night...so we've been sleepy heads all day..in between naps I've been trying to figure out how this blogging works... I'm liking it already...

In the next few weeks I'll try to whip ourloveleap blog into shape...you'll have to be patient with me on this one :0)
